Components of Fluorine Lined Diaphragm Valve
Valve Body: This is the main outer shell. It holds the fluid and connects to the piping system. The valve body can be made of metal (like stainless steel or cast iron) or plastic (like PVC or PP), depending on what kind of fluid is being handled.
Diaphragm: This is the flexible part that moves up and down to open or close the valve.
Compressor: A disc that presses the diaphragm down evenly during closing.
Stem: A vertical rod that connects the actuator to the diaphragm. It moves the inner compressor when the valve is operated.
Bonnet: The top cover that protects the stem and two piece compressor system. It’s usually made from the same material as the valve body.
Actuator: The part that moves the stem. It can be manual actuators (handwheel) or automatic actuators (air, electric, or hydraulic powered).
Secure Seals and O-rings: These prevent leaks and are made from materials like PTFE or FKM.
