This eccentric flame arrester serves as a protective device for long-term operation of pipelines and equipment systems. It effectively prevents detonations within the pipeline and includes temperature sensors on both sides of the arrester disc to detect and address potential short-term combustions.
The eccentric flame arrester is stronger than the normal flame arresters. It is suitable for more complex working conditions and harsh use environment. Therefore, the eccentric flame arrester is more strict with the production process. Eccentric In-Line Detonation Flame Arrester

 

 

In-line eccentric flame arrester is designed for horizontal installation to achieve a lower pressure drop and avoid condensation on flammable gases that can condense at the lowest points of the installation. They are useful in biogas plants to avoid that the water vapor that contains the biogas from the digester can condense in the body of the flame arrester and be deposited in the lower part of the flame arrester, reducing its passage section. Its flat bottom prevents the accumulation of water, allowing gas to push the condesmands along the line. They can be installed to avoid detonations and/or deflagrations. They are usually installed together with sediment pots and traps that collect condensates from the line.

 

Our flame arresters comply with ISO 16852 standards, set out in the ATEX Directive 94/9 / CE. There are different types of flame arresters depending on the gas and the type of explosion. To ensure the integrity of the equipment to be protected, it is vital to correctly select the type of flame arrester.

The PZHQ-B series of In line eccentric flame arrester is distinguished by its eccentric housing shape.
When condensate accumulates within the flame arrester unit, the design enables theliquid to drain without collecting large amounts in the housing.

The eccentric design of the device has decisive advantages in comparison to the classic flame arresters when pipes are intalled close to ground level.
