In line deflagration flame arrester
The in line deflagration flame arrester (also called a deflagration arrester) functions by absorbing the heat from a flame front traveling at subsonic velocities, thus dropping the burning gas/air mixture below its auto-ignition temperature: consequently, the flame cannot survive. The heat is absorbed through channels (passages) designed into an element. These channels are chosen and measured as the MESG (Maximum Experimental Safe Gap) of the gas for a particular installation. These passages can be regular, like crimped metal ribbon or wire mesh or a sheet metal plate with punched holes, or irregular.
The in line deflagration flame arrester can be used for any gas mediums, such as Steam, biogas, methane, natural gas, the temperature can be from -80 degree to +480 degree. We can adjust the specification according to client`s requirements.
Our products follow the ISO16852 standards for testing and manufacturing, CE certification. Through the national special equipment inspection and Research Institute of the full type test, resistance to fire performance is excellent, to obtain TSG certification.
We have already produced the maximum diameter of the pipe flame arrester 24 inch, product performance was widely recognized petrochemical enterprises. And our products were exported to all over the world.

In line deflagration flame arrester, are used to prevent event chain reactions on the pipeline with an explosive gas-air mixture. They prevent the spread of the deflagration to the connected equipment. Inline deflagration flame arresters are used in short pipe lengths, in contrast to detonation flame arresters and they are made according to ISO 16852 standards based on the pressure, the temperature, and the explosion group. To detect the fire on deflagration flame arresters, thermocouples can be fitted, which are used in addition to safety on applications like flare lines.

Uni Directional Flame Arresters Bi Directional Flame Arresters
The flame quenching element is designed to be three or four times the area of the pipe in which it is installed, and is assembled between two flanged reducing spools. The element comprises a tightly rolled scroll or scrolls of crimped stainless steel ribbon to form passages through which the vapour passes. The area of each passage determines the level of protection that the element provides. Our In line deflagration flame arrester has a Maximum Experimental Safe Gap as per standard and is suitable for gas groups IIB and IIA.
