Hongar Pumps are customizable for your specific requirements. They are available in Centrifugal Pump, Vertical Cantilever Pump and Vertical Sump Pump. The Pumps are easy to install. They come completely assembled, carefully adjusted and lubricated at the factory. Generally, the motor has been mounted and aligned at the factory before shipment. All you need to do is set the unit into place.
Heavy duty Vertical Cantilever Pump called sump pumps operate well in a variety of sump conditions, and can also be readily applied to floating dewatering or other floating pump platforms. As a true Vertical Cantilever Pump, the V Series does not have submerged bearings or seals; thus, eliminate the primary failure mechanism for similarly fielded pump lines.
Vertical Cantilever Pump from Hongar not only provide excellent wear life properties, they also operate efficiently to further reduce operating costs. These Vertical Cantilever Pump can be fully elastomer lined or hard metal fitted. There are no submerged bearings or packing with a unique high capacity double suction design. Application includes industries as below: gravel and sand, mineral processing, chemical processing, coal preparation, effluent handling, floor sump pumping, mill scale pumping, pumping of machine tool cuttings, wood chip pumping, and air entrained slurries.

Thanks to the vertical design, the Vertical Cantilever Pump take up little space. With an installation depth of more than 2,400 mm, a special construction between the intermediate pipe sections and the pressure pipe ensures a significant reduction in vibrations. Medium-lubricated slide bearings made of high-quality wear-resistant silicon carbide are mounted in the pump housing cover. This ensures long service lives and long periods between maintenance.
The assembly and disassembly of the units is easy, because the integrated cover plate also serves as a cover for the reservoir. Cast iron, stainless steel and duplex steel are available as material versions. Replaceable wear rings prevent possible wear on the housing and impeller. The pump series is distinguished by its high efficiency and low operating costs.
For the lubrication of the shaft bearings, versions are available with lubrication by the medium to be pumped, by external fluid or by electric grease pumps. The program also includes a so-called "cantilever version". This version is constructed according to ISO 5199 and is equipped with an elastic coupling and grease-lubricated rolling bearings outside the medium.
The temperature of the medium to be pumped can be between -30°C and +100°C, depending on the design. Regulated and unregulated electric motors can be used as drives, with and without ATEX certification.
