Double acting or single acting pneumatic cylinders or diaphragm actuators for a linear actuation are used in Pneumatic Tank bottom Flush Valve. As a standard industry practice, for open into the tank, i.e., disc rising type flush bottom valve, diaphragm type actuators are preferred, while for open into valves, i.e. disc lowering type flush bottom valves, cylinder type actuators are preferred as higher stroke length is required for these types of valves. With these actuators, Pneumatic Tank bottom Flush Valve is automated thus allowing the liquid & slurry to be drained off remotely and with minimum labor. We offers pneumatic actuators with single-acting (fail-safe) design and double-acting (stay-put) design for the Pneumatic Tank bottom Flush Valve.

 

Pneumatic discharge valve is used in piping, reactors & vessels to drain out Liquids, Abrasive, Slurry, Viscous Material or Semi Solid Media. Flush Bottom Valves are Available in design of Disc opening into the Tank (Vessel Opening Design) & Disc Lowering (Inside Valve Opening Design) into the Valve Body. Flush Bottom Valves with disc opening into the tank or opening upwards is the most commonly used. It is used where enough space is available between Bottom pad and the stirrer of the tank. The mass load inside the tank helps closing & tight shut off the Flush Bottom Valve. Normally,the inlet size of a standard flush bottom valve is one size higher than that of the outlet size. There are special constructiona possible with both sizes same. The outlet port is at an angle to the inlet port.Normally 45 or 60 degree deviation is provided. The end connection are normally flanged.

Valves available in all metallurgy, like, Carbon Steel (CS ASTM A 216 WCB / WCC), S.S 304 (ASTM A 351 Gr CF8), S.S 316 (ASTM A 351 Gr CF8M) , S.S 304L (ASTM A 351 Gr. CF3), S.S 316L (ASTM A 351 Gr CF3M) , Alloy 20, ASTM A 351 Gr. CN7M) Hast alloy C-22 & c-276 (ASTM A 494 Gr. CW12MW / CX2MW ) and as per specifications.

7. The seat of valves- Conical Metal to Metal disc seating/ PTFE seating with option of fixed or Renewable seat. Further metal seating can be hard faced by StelliteTM where distortion of seat by aggressive liquid or slurry is common.

8. Pneumatic Tank bottom Flush Valve outlet discharge angle available in 45°and valves can also be tailored made to 60° of discharge angle.

9. Pneumatic Tank bottom Flush Valve can also be provided with temperature sensors to measure the temperature in the vessel.

10. Bolted Stuffing Box (Gland), easily adjustable & with Repackable service.
