Lift Check Valve

As a reputable manufacturer and supplier, we offer a wide range of lift check valves with class 150#, 300#, 600#, 900#, and 1500# pressure ratings.
Our meticulously engineered lift check valves provide reliable and efficient flow control, ensuring the prevention of backflow in various industrial applications. With flanged end and butt weld connections available, our valves are versatile and adaptable to different installation requirements.
The lift-type check valve is commonly used in oil and gas, chemical, and water treatment industries.

Lift Check Valve

Lift Check valve is opened/closed by the valve disc moving in a direction parallel to the valve seat hole axis and can only be installed on horizontal pipelines with the major function of preventing medium backflow when shutting down the pump and maintaining the water column required by pumping.

The seat design of a lift-Check valve is similar to a Globe valve. The disc is usually in the form of a piston or a ball.

Lift Check valves are particularly suitable for high-pressure service where velocity of flow is high. In lift Check valves, the disc is precisely guided and fits perfectly into the dashpot. Lift Check valves are suitable for installation in horizontal or vertical pipe-lines with upward flow.

Flow to lift Check valves must always enter below the seat. As the flow enters, the piston or ball is raised within guides from the seat by the pressure of the upward flow. When the flow stops or reverses, the piston or ball is forced onto the seat of the valve by both the backflow and gravity.

Difference Between Swing Check Valve and Lift Check Valve

The function of the check valve is to allow the medium to flow in only one direction and prevent backflow.According to the structure, thecheck valve can be divided into three types: lift check valve, swing check valve and butterfly check valve. check valve manufacturers and suppliers introduce the difference between lift check valve and swing check valve:

Swing check valve has a pin mechanism, and a disc like a door freely rests on the incined seat surface. In order to ensure that the valve clackcan reach the proper position of the seat surface every time, the valve clackis set on the pin shaft mechanism,so that the valve clack has
enough swing space, and makes the valve clack truly and well contact with the valve seat. When the swing check valve is fully opened, thefuid pressure is almost unimpeded, so the pressure drop through the valve will be relatively small. he valve clack can be made entirely ofmetal, r it can be inlaid with leather, rubber,or a synthetic cover on the metal, depending on the requirements of the practicalfunction.

Lift check valve:
The discseat of th lit check valve is located on the sealing surface of the valve seat on the vave body. The lifting check valve is the same asthe stop valve except that the valve disc can be lifted freely.Thefluid pressure makes the valve disc liftfrom the sealing surface of the valveseat, and the backflow of the medium causes the valve disc to fall back to the valve seat and cut offthe flow..Like the stop valve, the passageofluid through the lit check valve is also narrow, so the pressure drop through the lift check valve is larger than that of the swing checkvalve.According to applicable conditions, the disc can be made of al-metal mechanism, orit can be inlaid with rubber pad or ruber ring onthe disc frame.

Summarize:
In addition to the above structure, there are also differences in installation:
1, Lift check valve has good sealing performance and large fluid resistance. The horizontal type should be installed on a horizontalpipeline, and the vertical type should be installed on a straight pipeline.
2,The installation position of the swing check valve is not restricted. lt can be installed on horizontal, straight or inclined pipelines. fit isinstalled on a straight pipeline, the flow direction of the medium should be from bottom to top.
