Relief Breather Valve

The relief valve and the relief flame arrester valve is suitable for the storage tank of organic solvent, which can only breather out the gas, can`t breather in the gas from outside, which will make sure the outside air can`t get in touch with the inner side medium. The relief valve can take the exhaled pipe and recover the exhaled gas. The valve can not only maintain the air pressure balance of the tank, ensure the damage of the tank in case of over pressure or vacuum, but also reduce the medium and loss in the tank. The working principle of the relief ( flame arrester ) valve is to use the spring to control the valve plate, which is determined by the setting pressure and VOC pressure, to make sure the valves breather in or breather out.

1. Storage: after the above products are transported to the construction site, if they are not installed at that time, all the valves shall be stored in the warehouse with rainproof facilities; the relief ( flame arrester ) valves shall not be inverted during transportation.

2. Maintenance:

a. The relief ( flame arrester ) valves should be inspected every month, checking whether there is dust, dirt on the valve disc, valve seat, valve stem, valve sleeve and other parts. If there is any, it shall be cleaned up; every half a year, wipe the transformer oil on the valve sleeve and valve rod.

b. Check the flame arresting tray of the relief flame arrester valve every half a year. If any stain or impurity is found to block the flame arrester tray, take out the trims, remove the stain with the corresponding solvent, clean the trims with clean water, then make it dry, put it in the shell after ventilation and drying.

c. The paint on the inner and outer surfaces of the relief ( flame arrestor ) valves be repainted once a year.
