Pressure Vacuum Breather Valve

Pressure / Vacuum Valve, also called the vacuum break valve. We have three types of this valve : vacuum valve , vacuum flame arrester valve, vacuum flame arresting valve with suction nozzle. The vacuum ( flame arrester ) valves are installed on the top of the tank, only used to breather in the air, can`t breather out. When the medium is pumped out of the tank, the pressure of the upper gas space in the tank will drop. When the operation negative pressure of the breathing valve is reached, the air outside the tank will open the negative pressure valve disc of the opening breathing valve, so that the external gas will enter the tank, the pressure in the tank will not continue to drop, and the air pressure inside and outside the tank will be balanced to ensure that the tank will not be damaged in case of over pressure or vacuum Safety device to protect the storage tank.

Vacuum valve: when the oil and gas pressure in the tank is less than the allowable vacuum degree of the tank, fresh air enters the tank through the vacuum valve, at this time, the pressure valve is closed, and the allowable pressure (or vacuum pressure) is controlled by the weight of the regulating plate;

Relief valves: when the pressure of oil and gas in the tank is greater than the allowable pressure of the tank, the oil vapor escapes through the pressure valve, and the vacuum valve is closed at this time.
