Hydraulic control valves are mainly divided into three categories: directional control valves, pressure control valves and flow control valves. These valves play a vital role in hydraulic systems and are used to control the flow direction, pressure and flow of hydraulic oil, thereby achieving precise control of actuators.
Directional control valves
Directional control valves are mainly used to control the flow direction of hydraulic oil so that the actuator can move in a predetermined direction. Common directional control valves include check valves and reversing valves. Check valves only allow hydraulic oil to flow in one direction to prevent backflow and are often used in the oil circuit of hydraulic cylinders to prevent self-retraction. Reversing valves are used to change the flow direction of hydraulic oil and achieve the reversing movement of actuators. Depending on the control method, reversing valves can be divided into manual reversing valves, solenoid reversing valves and electro-hydraulic reversing valves.
Pressure control valves
Pressure control valves are mainly used to control the pressure in hydraulic systems to meet the different pressure requirements of actuators. Common pressure control valves include relief valves, pressure reducing valves and sequence valves. The overflow valve is used to limit the maximum pressure of the hydraulic system. When the system pressure exceeds the set value, the overflow valve will open to allow the excess hydraulic oil to flow back to the tank, protecting the system from damage caused by excessive pressure. The pressure reducing valve is used to reduce the pressure in the hydraulic system and provide a stable low-pressure oil source for the actuator. The sequence valve is used to control the action sequence of multiple actuators to ensure that they work in a predetermined order.
Flow control valve
The flow control valve is mainly used to control the flow of hydraulic oil, thereby adjusting the movement speed of the actuator. Common flow control valves include throttle valves, speed control valves and flow divider and collector valves. The throttle valve controls the flow of hydraulic oil by adjusting the size of the valve port, and the speed control valve can achieve precise control of the flow while maintaining a constant pressure. The flow divider and collector valve is used to evenly distribute the hydraulic oil to multiple actuators, or to collect the hydraulic oil returned by multiple actuators.
