Our gas gate valve, extends our gas resilient seated gate valve offering and delivers a flow control valve solution for the construction of gas pipeline networks in more aggressive environments.
The ductile Iron gas gate valve solutions designed with a compressible NBR encapsulated ductile iron wedge with patented dual seal technology for optimum flow control. The valves are easy to operate with a low number of turns and low closing torque. They are protected with a yellow epoxy coating applied externally and internally of a minimum 250 microns, with an additional black PUR layer applied over the epoxy coating for increased corrosion, abrasion and chemical resistance and protection during handling, transportation and installation.

The gas gate valve is manufactured with the tried and trusted metallic wedge used for over 50 years on the gas networks. A true wedge design, the gate seals on both machined faces with an embedded nitrile seal in each face which sit completely outside the flow of gas with the valve open.
• The design gives effective and long term sealing on closure and the closing torques remain relatively low over the valve's design life.
• The low closing / breaking torque means operators don't risk over exertion / injury. Can be easily closed by a single person with standard equipment.
• Negates the need for manual handling risk assessment.
