Bi-directional butterfly valve is a high performance valve developed on the basis of Three-eccentrc Center Butterfly valve in order to solve the puzzle of not fulfilling zero leakage on bi-drections. It changed sealing stucture fundamentally from pressure-tight seal by sealing pair towards reverse seal,as it mainly relies on specific pressure of seal generated by reverse extrusion of sealing pair to achieve sealing effect.On sealing structure,during its operation it achieves the goal of bi-directional zero leakage, high temperature and high pressure resistant, wear resistant and prolonged service life of valve, as in foward and reverse (backward) flow medium pressure on both directions could both partially act on sealing surface, and then sealing pair works under both reverse sealing pressure and partial medium pressure.

1,bi-directional butterfly valve
adopts three-eccentric sealing principle with high processing accuracy , which could achieve zero leakagesealing on bi-direction;
Eccentricity 1- Axial direction eccentricity, the gyration center of valve deviates from the contact plane of the sealing surface,forming eccentricty;
Eccentricity 2- Radial eccentricity ,the gyration center of the valve and the center of the pipeline are not on the same center line;
Eccentricity 3-The angle is eccentric, and the center of the valve sealing surface forms an angle with the center of the pipeline;
Eccenticity 4-The angle is eccentric, the line of action on short side of the sealing surface forms an angle with the center line of the flow channel.

2,Bi-directional sealing,superior performance in sealing;
When the medium is flowing in the forward direction ,the force imposed by driving device on the valve rod drives the valve plate,causing the sealing surace of the butterfly plate to produce a forced sealng force, which acts on the sealing surface of the valve seat . At the same time ,the medium pressure generates an auxiliary sealing force to make sealing surface of the valve plate compress the sealing surface of the valve seat to form good sealing function.
When the madium flows in the opposite direction, under the co-propelled force of the pre-tightening force and piston effct of he medium,the sealing surface of the valve seat presses sealing surface of the valve plate to form good sealing function.
