This investment cast Three Way Ball Valve can be an economical option for flow patterns that normally require multiple 2-way valves. Available in L or T port configurations, this valve is excellent for diverting flow within control loop processes.
Three way ball valves are available in T and L shapes.
The T-shape can connect three orthogonal pipelines and cut off the third channel, playing a role of diversion and confluence.
The L three-way ball valve type can only connect two orthogonal pipelines and cannot maintain the interconnectivity of the third pipeline at the same time, only serving as a distribution function.
The disc ball valve and flange gate valve are both classified as valves that utilize a rotating ball around the centerline of the valve body to facilitate opening and closing. These ball valves are primarily utilized in pipelines to control, distribute, and alter the flow direction of the medium.

Three way ball valves have 3 ports. They are available in a variety of body materials and with all of the common end connections. They can be manually operated or automated with an electric or pneumatic actuator. They can be used as diverter valves, where flow a single inlet is diverted to either of the two other ports as the outlet. They can also be used as an input selector where a single outlet port is fed the flow from one of the other two ports as the supply inlet. The bore through the ball (ball drilling) comes in two varieties, "L" and "T" as shown below.

Products application
Three way ball valve are used in applications with more than one source of media or to divert media in two different directions. Depending on the flow direction, the three ports are assigned as either one outlet and two inlets or one inlet and two outlets.
Three way ball valve have three ports and can be manually operated or automated with an electric or pneumatic actuator. The bore through the ball comes in two varieties: "L" and "T" port. Three way valves can:
