Pneumatic conveying diverter valve is used to divert product flow from one inlet to multiple outlets. They are used on simple gravity (no pressure) applications and high pressure applications. To prevent clogging, leakage and premature wear, it is always critical to divert when no product is flowing through the valve. Changeover valves are ideal for handling dry bulk material in gravity flow, dilute phase or dense phase pneumatic conveying applications.
The Pneumatic Conveying Diverter valve is used to reroute product from one conveying line to another.
The body is available in cast iron, cast aluminum or cast stainless steel. An internal flap plate is fabricated of mild steel or stainless steel, with a polyurethane rubber wiper seal. The parabolic shape provides a good seal without any gaps.
Operation is either by pneumatic air cylinder, electric linear actuator, manual lever arm or rotary type actuators.
The units come standard with ASA bolt hole pattern flanges or spigots as specified by the customer, either OD tube or nominal pipe.
Pneumatic conveying diverter valve uses air pressure as the power driving source.Through the reciprocating action of the cylinder, the reciprocating motion of the rack fixed at the end of the piston rod is driven, and the gear meshed with it converts the linear operation into the rotary motion of the valve core to realize the valve core.
The only channel and the different channels of the valve body are connected and disconnected, so that the materials are discharged according to different preset routes.
