Slurry Knife Gate Valves

Slurry knife gate valves are specially made for the mining industry, for loaded fluid lines like sludge or abrasive services. Slurry knife gate valves performs also well for waste water treatment, pulp and paper industry, chemical plants, silo outlet and thermal power plants. The design allows flow media with high consistency either for normal or reverse flow due to the bi-directional double seat design. The high flow coefficient value of this knife gate valve provides high flow rates with low pressure drops.
The main characteristic of the slurry knife gate valve is that it provides a full continuous flow. In open position the two rubber wear-resistant sleeves are in close contact with each other preventing the flow get inside the valve body.
